About Me
I am a multidisciplinary artist working with performance art, painting, mixed media, sculpture, video, writing, storytelling, photography, and music. Art is a place where I am not afraid to be vulnerable, as I believe that speaking of our humanness, our brokenness, is what leads to true connection and solace. My art practice is a celebration of being alive and being here, of hard-won freedom and liberation, and of healing, strength, and the human spirit. Through my work, I hope to hold hands with everybody who knows that life is as much about rain as it is about sunshine, and to connect with them through the spoken - and especially, the unspoken.
I have a bachelor’s degree in fine art from National Art School, Sydney, Australia, a bachelor’s degree in mass media and mass communication from IP College, Delhi University, and a DELF B1 diploma in French. I have exhibited widely in India and Australia, and sold over 85 artworks so far, held in public and private collections in India, Australia, UK, USA, Dubai, and France. Prior to becoming a full-time artist, I have worked as an advertising writer and filmmaker - the learnings from which I still incorporate in my art. In my spare time, I like to dance, play table tennis, go for walks, read, play the guitar or ukulele. I find myself constantly working towards creating a life that is increasingly more purposeful, meaningful, and joyful, and aim to lead a life that is a work of art, in itself.
